C.R.A.B. (Cancer Research Advocate Bikers) was founded in 2004 by Rob Grimstone after he experienced the profound loss of his mother to cancer. Driven by a deep personal commitment, Rob envisioned a community that could ride together, share camaraderie, and, most importantly, raise vital funds for cancer research. What began with heartfelt grief transformed into a powerful mission to make a difference.

In 2005 our CRAB chapter was founded here in South Australia by Neil paltridge who took the reins very early on and along with 4 other (ORGINAL MEMBERS). Neil went above and beyond putting his blood, sweat and tears into this club and was president for close to 10 years. 
Since our inception, C.R.A.B. has grown from a local initiative into a national movement, with chapters in four Australian states. Our mission is clear and that is to be a social motorcycle club dedicated to supporting cancer research. We proudly donate annually to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, celebrating our contributions with a live band and cheque presentation at our AGM in July. Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future free from cancer and generations in the future better options.
